Sci Fi Wire posted a small bit of news the other day talking about the future release of a movie by one of horror films big producers, Roy Lee, and that movie was THE RING THREE.
As of right now, nothing is going on with THE RING THREE, except that they want to hold off on the film for a few years so they can bring the film back with a fresh story. The original plan was to tell the origins of Samara which sounds a lot like the Japanese film RING O: BIRTHDAY.
So, sadly, there won’t be another RING movie in the near future, but you can expect more Japanese-to-American films later this year. Lee is currently working on a remake of a Koren film THE HOST.

The Host is a fairly new production isn’t it? I saw it some weeks ago and it really looked good. Great movie, although in Japanese (or whatever Asian language). A remake would be kinda weird as the original is so new and really good looking…
